Pontus Jansson has hailed Leeds’ performance on Twitter after they beat Reading 2-0 at Elland Road on Tuesday night.
Striker Chris Wood opened the scoring for the hosts in the first half, but Souleymane Doukara made sure of the three points when he converted a penalty in stoppage time.
Unfortunately for the home side, New Zealand international Wood had to go off after 33 minutes because of an injury.
Centre-back Jansson played the full match as Leeds picked up a valuable victory and a clean sheet against their promotion rivals.
The on-loan Torino defender, who joined the Whites in the summer, has become a popular figure amongst the Elland Road faithful.

Garry Monk’s side were beaten 2-0 at Brighton last Friday and they showed great spirit to record a win against Jaap Stam’s side.
The Whites remain in a play-off place on 35 points from 21 games and they have now recorded back-to-back victories on home soil.
Jansson has been a key figure to that success as he has made 14 league appearances this term for Monk’s side.
He has helped them to six clean sheets during those matches as the Yorkshire giants aim for a promotion to the Premier League this term.
Their next task will be a home tie against league strugglers Brentford on Saturday afternoon.
