'Postecoglou's doesn't like' Celtic star Bolingoli after what he's seen - Scots pundit
Alex McLeish has claimed Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou “has seen something he doesn’t like” in left-back Boli Bolingoli.
The former Scotland manager, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested Hoops youngster Adam Montgomery has leapfrogged the 26-year-old in the Parkhead pecking order.
Bolingoli made his first Celtic appearance in over 13 months in the 1-0 defeat against Livingston on September 19.
He has made the bench a handful of times this season but looks to have been usurped by 19-year-old Montgomery.
The National quoted Postecoglou (September 25th) as saying the youngster has done “really well” during his outings this season.
The pair have earned first-team opportunities in the absence of first-choice left-back Greg Taylor, who is sidelined with a shoulder injury.

McLeish insisted it will be a “great find” if Hoops starlet Montgomery can impress at left-back.
“It looks like Montgomery has gone ahead of him in the pecking order,” he told Football Insider‘s Russell Edge.
“You would have to think that Postecoglou has seen something he doesn’t like in Bolingoli’s game.
“He was looking to Bolingoli for a bit of experience, but the door is open for Montgomery and if he can make his mark, it will be a great find for Celtic.”
Bolingoli was reintroduced to the squad by Postecoglou this term after his ignominious loan departure to Istanbul Basaksehir last season.
He was exiled from the Hoops squad following a breach of coronavirus protocol.
The left-back has made 30 appearances for Celtic since signing from Club Brugge in 2019.
The Hoops take on Aberdeen on Sunday (October 3rd) and currently trail Old Firm rivals Rangers by six league points.
