Premier League club still keen to sign Leeds first teamer after £7m bid rejected - reports

West Brom are continuing to keep tabs on Leeds star Charlie Taylor ahead of the summer window, according to a report.
The Mail claim Tony Pulis’ side are closely monitoring the 23-year-old as they draw up a shortlist of left-back targets ahead of the summer transfer window.
It is said that West Brom are also looking at Schalke left back Dennis Aogo as they consider candidates to fill the problem position in their defence.
The Mail suggest the Premier League club could look to sign two left-backs in the next window, with the possibility of Aogo joining in addition to Taylor.
The Schalke defender, a 12-times Germany international, is a free agent at the end of the season and his experience would provide top-quality cover for Taylor, who is yet to make his Premier League debut.

Like Aogo, Taylor is out of contract at the end of the season and talks about an extension have failed to get off the ground.
The defender was reportedly the subject of considerable interest in the January window, with the Guardian reporting that the Championship promotion challengers knocked back offers of £7million from not only West Brom, but two other Premier League clubs in Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace.
However, Leeds will be powerless to stop Taylor from leaving in the summer even though they will be entitled to a considerable compensation fee as he is a product of their prolific academy.
Taylor has been a mainstay of the Leeds side that are currently fourth in the Championship with a tally of 69 points from 38 matches, eight points adrift of second-placed Brighton.
He missed nearly three months of the season with an achilles problem but returned to the team to deliver an outstanding display in their 2-0 win against Brighton before the international break.
The 2015-16 Leeds player of the year has started 24 of Leeds’ 38 Championship matches this season and is widely regarded as one of their outstanding players.
In other Leeds transfer news, the club have sealed an out-of-window midfielder transfer.
