Prutton heralds Leeds' 'great achievement' in prediction v Hull City
Former Leeds United star and current Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has said that the club’s ability to turn their woeful run of form around in recent weeks has been an “great achievement”.
The Whites currently sit just one point and one place off the play off spots, with the chance to secure three points against Hull City at Elland Road on Saturday.
Thomas Christiansen’s side come into the clash off the back of a 1-0 win over Norwich City last weekend, a result which kept the Whites in touch with the top six and extended their unbeaten run to four games.
Their streak, which has garnered 10 points from a possible 12, comes after an abysmal run which saw the club lose seven of their nine league games and tumble down the table and out of the play off spots, having once topped the table as league leaders.
Hull meanwhile are languishing in 19th place in the Championship, having been defeated 1-0 by Cardiff City last time out, and have managed to pick up just one win in their last nine games.
Predicting a 1-0 win for Leeds on Saturday, Prutton wrote on Sky Sports’ website: “Three points for Leeds will lift them back into the play-off places this weekend, which is a great achievement considering how bad their form was a few weeks ago.

“The defeat at Cardiff last weekend was a bit of a bump back down to earth for Nigel Adkins following the victory in his first game and to be honest I think it will be a similar result for them on Saturday.”
The last meeting between the two sides ended 2-2 back in April 2016, while the last clash at Elland Road ended 2-1 to the Whites.
