Pundit 'can't believe' what's happening at Man United after Rashford training ground reveal
Kevin Campbell “cannot believe” the ongoings at Man United both on and off the field.
However, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Arsenal and Everton striker defended Marcus Rashford after 48 hours of intense criticism for the 24-year-old.
Rashford started the Red Devils 1-0 win over Aston Villa on Monday but his performance was not received well.
Speaking on talkSPORT (11 January), ex-Palace owner Simon Jordan said the England international “is a mile off on quality and attitude.”
According to The Telegraph (12 January), the forward has been spending up to 12 hours a day at the Carrington training ground in a bid to rediscover his form.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his assessment of Rashford’s form, Campbell said:

“I cannot believe what I’m seeing from this Manchester United team. It’s a weird one.
“The regime has changed. What Marcus Rashford has been used to is no longer there. There is a lot of uncertainty at the club. They have an interim manager in place who will not be the manager come the end of the season.
“There is also unrest in the dressing room. It’s not easy to be at your best in those circumstances.
“Let’s remember that he’s still a young footballer. He is still learning and finding his way in the game, even though he’s at arguably the biggest club in the world.
“We have to look at the bigger picture at times like this. Rashford’s form will come back because he’s an amazing player. At the moment he’s struggling for quality and consistency.”
