Pundit: Man United can have the best attack in world football after source's Kane update

Frank McAvennie claims Manchester United will have the best front three in world football if they sign Harry Kane.

The former West Ham forward, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, urged the Red Devils to follow the signing of Jadon Sancho with a move for Kane.

Manchester United announced their capture of Jadon Sancho on July 1st.

As revealed by Football Insider on Saturday (July 9th), Man United have moved into pole position to sign Kane with Spurs asking for £100million plus two stars in exchange.

A United source told this site that Man United have been given encouragement by Spurs during recent discussions over the England captain.

McAvennie claims a front three of Kane, Sancho and Edinson Cavani would blow PSG’s attack out of the water.

“They have just bought Sancho and they could get more,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“I have no doubt Man United could afford to sign Kane if they wanted to sign him.

“A front three of Sancho, Kane and Cavani, wow, what a three that would be.

“That’s like Mbappe, Neymar and Di Maria, if not better to be honest. That’s the best attack in the world.

“That would be a fight to behold and I can honestly see it happening.

“They want to challenge City and last season they were the closest, this season they will be closer.

“If they keep the right players and make some more additions, Kane, Varane, they will be very strong.”

Cavani, 34, scored 17 goals for Manchester United last season.

The Uruguayan impressively scored six goals and picked up three assists in five Europa League outings.
