Noel Whelan has claimed that the prospect of being part of 10-in-a-row at Celtic will be a “very attractive proposition” to Ryan Fraser.
However, the former Leeds United and Aberdeen striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, tipped the 26-year-old to remain in the Premier League and move to London.
Fraser today becomes a free agent after he turned down a short-term contract extension at Bournemouth to enable him to complete the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign.
Football Insider revealed that the the winger rejected a new deal as he feared injury would scupper a blockbuster move this summer.
The Hoops are joined by Tottenham, Everton and Newcastle United in the pursuit of the Scotland international, while there has also been interest from West Ham and Burnley.
When asked by Football Insider where he expected Fraser to be lining up next season, Whelan said: “Four big clubs with great training facilities and stadiums.
“Three clubs that are possibly going to be in Europe. Any one of them is a good choice.
“I think he will look to stay in the Premier League. It would not be too far for him to move to London from Bournemouth so he will be tempted by that.
“You would assume if you joined Tottenham that you would be challenging in and around that top six next season.
“Celtic, well you know you could be part of that 10, so to have the chance to win that title would be a very attractive proposition as well.
“It is not a bad decision to have! I expect him to sign for a very big club.”
In other Celtic news, it can be REVEALED that Fraser Forster move is in doubt after contract details emerge.
