Pundit Exclusive: West Ham star tipped to pen bumper new deal after big update
Kevin Campbell has tipped West Ham striker Michail Antonio to pen a new long-term contract at the London Stadium.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, the former Arsenal and Everton striker is adamant that club and player will “come to an agreement” over a new deal this season.
Antonio is set to be out of contract on 30 June next year but the club can trigger a 12 month extension on that deal if they choose.
Football Insider revealed last month that club chiefs plan to offer the versatile forward a new contract after discussions at board level.
ExWHUemployee claimed on the West Ham Way podcast, 10 November, that talks had stalled over contract length with Antonio keen to end his career at the London Stadium.

“Put it this way, if you are West Ham I do not think you could argue about the amount of years. You could structure it so there is a caveat of a year either way but you cannot let him leave.
“The negotiations will go on and they will come to an agreement.”
Antonio has scored 11 goals in his last 13 Premier League appearances and has established himself as David Moyes’s preferred striking option.
The Hammers face Sheffield United on Sunday with the Englishman in contention to feature after recovering from a hamstring injury ahead of schedule.
