Pundit issues 'unbelievable' claim after Liverpool source's Timo Werner reveal
Jurgen Klopp could help Timo Werner find his best form if he signed for Liverpool this summer.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Germany international’s future.
On Thursday (22 June) Football Insider revealed Liverpool are plotting a shock move for Werner.
A Reds source told this site their interest is at an early stage and no talks have taken place with Chelsea.
The 26-year-old was a target for Liverpool before he moved to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2020.
Kenny claims Klopp can help the misfiring star find his best form if he moves to Anfield.

“All the players at Liverpool work so hard for Klopp and they all produce,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“What Klopp has done at Liverpool is unbelievable and the players he has signed have turned into world-class players.
“If Werner was to come in, why is Klopp not the man to get him back to his best?
“What a club for him to go to, Liverpool, wow. We know he hasn’t been at his best at Chelsea, we know there is more to come.
“If anyone could get Werner back to that form we saw in Germany, it’s Klopp.”
Werner scored 11 goals in 37 total appearances during the 2021-22 season.
HIs form was far more impressive during his final season in Germany as he scored 34 goals in 45 appearances.
