Pundit lambasts four Man United stars and shares Ronaldo dressing room reveal he's 'heard'
Paul Robinson has ripped into the “awful” Man United players and pointed the finger at four dressing room leaders led by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Spurs and England number one said “there is a lot of ego and attitude” causing problems in the Old Trafford dressing room.
A United source told Football Insider that Ronaldo is too powerful in the dressing room and his influence is affecting his teammates.
The form of senior players such as Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes has significantly dropped since the Portugal captain’s arrival.
He was the only one among the four dressing room leaders named by Robinson who started tonight’s Champions League clash against Villarreal.
When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of United’s woes, Robinson said: “The big players have been just awful for a number of weeks now.

“That is why Solskjaer got sacked at the end of the day. You could see he lost the dressing room a while back.
“But, just look at the talent in that dressing room. It will not take a lot for a different manager to come in and get a tune out of those players. United have some of the best players in the world.
“Yes, there is a lot of ego and a lot of attitude in that dressing room but there is that at other big clubs as well.
“The difference was the characters in that dressing room were far bigger than the manager.
“Ronaldo, Fernandes, [Edinson] Cavani and [Paul] Pogba run the dressing room if you believe what I hear.”
Solskjaer was sacked on Sunday after a 4-1 defeat at Watford.
