Pundit makes Rangers claim and tells Ralston to 'get on with it' after Celtic axe
Anthony Ralston must show Ange Postecoglou what he’s made of after being dropped as Celtic lost to Livingston.
The former Aberdeen hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted as Postecoglou continues to tinker with his defence.
Summer signing Josip Juranovic started at right-back on Sunday as the Hoops fell to a sixth defeat of the season in all competitions.
Juranovic is a right-back by trade but has been played at left-back on several occasions since he signed, including in last month’s Old Firm.
The Croatian is on set-piece duty for his new side and scored a penalty as Celtic lost to Real Betis through the week.
Ralston has been excellent for himself this season, scoring three goals from the defence.

Whelan insists Ralston must respond to getting dropped as Juranovic is guaranteed a place in the side.
When asked if Juranovic was guaranteed a place in the team due to his ability with set-pieces, Whelan told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild, “I think that may be the case.
“He’s played at left-back even though he is a right-back by trade but one thing that will do is get a response from the player he replaces.
“That’s what Rangers had last year, when players were replaced there was no complaining. There was just the desire to improve and get back in.
“Everyone stuck together. Those players need to show Postecoglou what they are made of, even if it is Ralston, who has been very good this year and a key player.
“It’s not going to be easy, we need to see that desire now. He has to get on with it. Hard luck, that’s football.
“It looks like the squad is playing as one, the results just aren’t going their way.
“Again, you can see what Postecoglou is trying to do but he needs to sort that defence and if he had to drop Ralston then that’s just what he has to do.”
