Pundit mocks Morelos 'bids' and in no doubt where Rangers star will be on 1 February
Frank McAvennie claims Alfredo Morelos will remain a Rangers player until the end of the season “at least”.
The former Celtic hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insists the Colombian won’t be in demand this January.
Morelos, 25, has been regularly linked with moves away from Ibrox ever since he started to impress at Rangers.
He joined the club in 2017 and has so far scored 104 goals in all competitions.
10 of those have come this season but McAvennie claims there is no “queue of clubs” wanting to sign Morelos.
“He never leaves,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“There is a reason for that. Whether it be his disciplinary record or other concerns.
“For some reason, these clubs aren’t prepared to pay what it will take to get him. He’s always playing the wantaway act.
“There was talk about Lille, wasn’t there? They were saying Lille wouldn’t pay what Rangers want.
“That makes sense, he blows hot and cold sometimes. I can’t see any bids coming in for him in January for that reason.
“I don’t know what has changed in the last few months to make a queue of clubs want him.
“If all the transfer reports about him were real he would have played all over the world right now.
“I think Rangers are stuck with him until at least the end of the season.”
Morelos has started all four of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s games in charge of Rangers.
He scored three goals in those outings.
