Pundit suggests Ndombele wants out of Tottenham after 'massive red flag' reported by Athletic
Alan Hutton has suggested Tanguy Ndombele may push to leave Tottenham after being snubbed by Nuno Espirito Santo in pre-season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs defender admitted the midfielder’s omission threw up “massive red flags” over his future.
As quoted by The Athletic (August 9th), Nuno revealed the 24-year-old was not injured when he was left out of the final pre-season clash against Arsenal.
The Athletic went on to report the Frenchman had trained fully in the build-up and was available.
It is said Ndombele is now weighing up his options in north London.
His absence against Arsenal means he failed to play a single minute during Tottenham’s pre-season.

Hutton suggested the midfielder may look to quit Spurs before the transfer deadline at the end of August.
However, he admitted Spurs’ demands may put suitors off.
He told Football Insider‘s Russell Edge: “Spurs paid a club-record fee for him.
“Knowing Daniel Levy, he will want that money back – but who is going to pay that?
“It’s difficult to ask for that much money when he has been inconsistent since joining.
“With him not involved in pre-season at all, it just throws up a massive red flag.”
“We’ve seen him play brilliantly in flashes, but he tends to go missing a lot.
“It’s difficult when you’re trying to fit that type of inconsistency in when you’re trying to build a squad.
“You’d think he would be desperate to impress the new manager, but it hasn’t happened.
“He’s not been on the pitch so he’s either not been good enough in training or he’s looking for a move.”
In other news, this Tottenham youngster is headed for another loan spell.
