Pundit suggests Raheem Sterling fall-out with Pep Guardiola as 'big' Man City claim issued
Raheem Sterling may want to leave Man City because he has fallen out with Pep Guardiola, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Sterling will be unhappy with his lack of game time and Man City will not be open to letting him leave this summer.
The Telegraph reported on Tuesday (21 June) that the 27-year-old, who has a year left on his current contract, wants to decide his future within the next two weeks.
Chelsea, along with Barcelona and Real Madrid, are interested in his signature and City will sell at the right price.
“I don’t think Man City will be too bothered [about losing him],” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“They’ve got [Julian] Alvarez coming in, they’ve got [Erling] Haaland. They would be fine with losing Gabriel Jesus and Sterling, two in, two out.

“Raheem Sterling will be fed up with the rotation. He looked like the one who was not playing as much and on the bench a lot.
“For the number of goals he’s scored for that club, the amount he’s won for that club, he will feel mistreated.
“He’s still a young lad. He’ll want to go somewhere where he is the first name on the teamsheet, that’s Chelsea. Chelsea are crying out for someone like him.
“He’s not going to want to be at Man City where he’s not going to be starting, that’s why he’ll want to leave. He’ll be fed up of being a sub, he’ll want to be playing in the big games.
“Maybe there’s been a little falling out with Pep Guardiola on that. We’ve seen that happen before with players.
“He might be thinking ‘I’m 27, it’s time to try something different’.”
