Pundit tips Kamara to snub Rangers exit after journalist's update on Premier League talks
Noel Whelan has suggested Glen Kamara could snub a move to Watford to remain at Rangers this summer.
The former Aberdeen striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed staying at Ibrox would be more appealing than a potential relegation fight in the Premier League.
As reported by Sportitalia journalist Gianluigi Longari (June 15th), Watford have opened talks over a potential deal for Kamara.
However, it is said the Hornets’ priority is RC Lens star Seko Fofana.
Watford are preparing for a return to England’s top-flight after finishing second in the Championship.
However, Whelan suggested possible Champions League football and a Premiership title fight could keep Kamara, 25, at Ibrox.

Whelan told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “From a player’s point of view, yes, you’re going to be in the Premier League.
“But are you going to be in the Premier League for one season?
“You’re missing out on Champions League football, you’re missing out on the opportunity to retain the title in Scotland. There’s all these considerations.
“Watford have just been promoted but how many times have we seen promoted sides end up going straight back down. Does he want to play in the Championship?
“Yes, they’re in the Premier League but are they going to be a team that’s going to sustain that? I think he’s probably better off staying at Rangers, quite frankly.”
Kamara played 51 times across all competitions for Rangers during the 2020/21 campaign.
He is currently starring for Finland at the European Championships.
