Pundit verdict on Tottenham completing Youssoufa Moukoko deal - 'Conte wants it now'
Noel Whelan has claimed Tottenham boss Antonio Conte could veto the signing of Youssoufa Moukoko in favour of a more experienced option.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed all of the Italian’s signings so far have been ready to slot “straight into the first team”.
It has been reported that Tottenham had officials in attendance to watch Dortmund forward Youssoufa Moukoko, 17, last week.
This site revealed last month (21 October) that Liverpool and Man City are among a number of top European clubs who have set their sights on the teenage sensation.
The Germany international, who has notched six goals and six assists in 24 appearances this term, is out of contract at the end of the season.

Tottenham have suffered in recent weeks as a result of injuries to forwards Richarlison, Heung-min Son, and Dejan Kulusevski.
Whelan claimed Conte will be looking for a “ready-made” forward if Spurs are to dip into the transfer market in January.
He told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “The one thing we’ve seen from Conte with his signings is that he wants it now.
“The players he has bought have needed to go straight into the first team.
“They don’t have the luxury that other teams have where they can give game time to younger players.
“They need a ready-made player, someone who can hit the ground running.
“Someone with experience, at a good age and with maturity – someone who knows the game and can adapt to how they play.
“They need someone who is definitely ready for the Premier League.”
