'Pure muck' - Celtic fans slam forward after win v Partick

Celtic fans have taken to social media to give their opinions on Osdonne Edouard’s performance against Partick Thistle in the game which the Hoops won 2-1.
The on-loan striker was perhaps surprisingly chosen ahead of Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele by Brendan Rodgers to be the lone striker against the Jags.
The 20-year-old didn’t seem to impress the fans on social media, as he was guilty of missing a good chance when he could have played in a team-mate.
One supporter even claimed that Nadir Ciftci was a better striker.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Edouard’s performance:

As for the game itself, the Hoops began the game in charge but aside from Edouard’s shot and an Ntcham shot just wide of goal they failed to create any real chances.
Edouard came close with a back-heel which Cerny saved before Lustig conceded a penalty with a foul on Storey.
Sammon converted the penalty to give Thistle the lead.
Scott Sinclair then scored a penalty he won himself to make 1-1 in the 55th minute.
Substitute Leigh Griffiths then put the Hoops into the lead in the 69th minute with a fine finish.
The 2-1 win the puts the Hoops 11 points clear of Aberdeen ahead of their game against Rangers on Wednesday.
