Rafael Leao: Man United told £50m offer could be accepted by AC Milan
Rafael Leao’s price tag is set at between £50 to 60 million as Manchester United plot a move to prise him from AC Milan.
Leao has always threatened to become one of the world’s best wingers, but may need a move away from the San Siro to fulfil his full potential.
He will be 27-years-old by the start of next season, and is being heavily linked with an exit as Man United register their interest in his services.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, Milan are set to demand at least £50m for his signature this summer.
Man United’s transfer plans will include signing a new left winger to bolster their depth ahead of a likely return to the Champions League.

Leao has registered 10 goals and three assists in 28 games across all competitions for Milan this season as they look set to clinch Champions League qualification.
The 26-year-old has been linked to the likes of Barcelona and Man City ahead of this summer, with United also interested, but a deal will not come cheap as he has two years left on his contract.

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “It won’t be a cheap deal to do. You’re probably looking around the £50 to 60 million mark for Leao, who’s got into the last two years of his contract at the San Siro.
“So look, Milan I think would be open to a potential move away from the winger if the right offer comes in for him.
“United are looking for that position, and I’m sure he’s one of a number of players that’s on that long list.”

United could still welcome Marcus Rashford back into the fold this summer, but are currently planning to add a new left winger to their squad if he does leave again.
As exclusively revealed by Football Insider, United are scouting Ajax star Godts alongside the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool.
20-year-old Godts has registered 16 goals and 13 assists in 39 appearances for Ajax this season, and earned a maiden Belgium cap in March after his strong form.
