Raheem Sterling may be 'upset' at Man City after new twist - pundit
Raheem Sterling may be unhappy at Man City and be working on an exit plan for next summer, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Sterling has been reduced to a “bit-part” player at Man City and deserves to be playing regularly.
The 27-year-old only has one year left to run on his City contract and has seen his game time reduced in recent seasons.
The Telegraph reported on Thursday (9 June) that Chelsea and other members of Europe’s elite believe Sterling could be tempted away from the Etihad this summer.
It is also claimed Real Madrid are monitoring the England international’s situation.
“Sterling will be a bit upset with last season (2021-22),” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.

“He was a bit-part player, to be honest. He was on the bench a lot, something he wouldn’t have been used to in his whole career.
“I’m sure he won’t like that and going forward he will definitely be looking to leave the club.
“If he can leave next summer on a free transfer it’s even better for him.
“He’s not a happy player at Man City and you can’t see it changing next season with Haaland coming in, Grealish and Foden there too. You’ve got so much attacking strength you can see it being another frustrating season for him.
“He’s such a top player, he should be playing more.
“He might want to try another country out, another city with a different lifestyle. Whatever happens, I’m sure Man City fans will be happy with his contribution”
