Randal Kolo Muani is not set to stay at Tottenham Hotspur beyond this season and looks most likely to end up at Juventus ahead of next term.

Kolo Muani has struggled to make an impact on loan at Tottenham from PSG this season as they battle against a shock relegation from the Premier League.

He has scored five goals in 36 appearances for Spurs across all competitions while failing to nail down a consistent starting place in attack under three different managers.

As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, Tottenham will not be signing him permanently this summer, as Juventus lead the race to secure his services.

Tottenham’s transfer plans will be dictated by whether they are relegated or not, but the Frenchman is not set to stay in North London regardless of what happens over the next month.

Liverpool have been linked with a shock move for Kolo Muani this summer as they search for cut-price striker cover following Hugo Ekitike’s serious injury.

Spurs did not agree on an obligation or option to buy the 27-year-old, and he looks most likely to end up back at Juventus after a decent loan spell in Turin last season.

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “Muani has had a difficult season at Tottenham and obviously it doesn’t look like that move will be made permanent from Paris Saint-Germain.

“It’s probably more likely, if he does end up leaving PSG on a permanent deal, that a move back to Juventus could be on the cards.

“Obviously they tried, in the January window, to bring him back to Turin, but I think if Juve qualify for the Champions League, which they’re looking well placed to do, maybe they could step up their interest to bring the French international back to the club in the summer.

“I would imagine that would probably be more likely than a move to Anfield.”

Spurs are expected to hold onto the 23-year-old until after the World Cup, as a stellar tournament with Senegal could see his value soar even higher.
