'Absolute gash', 'Nowhere near' - Rangers fans annihilate one player despite win v Dundee

Rangers fans have annihilated Graham Dorrans for his performance in the 4-0 win against Dundee at Dens Park on Saturday afternoon.

Dorrans, 30, made just his second appearance since a five-month lay-off due to an ankle injury he picked up in October, but the former West Brom midfielder did not seem as though he was anywhere fit enough to play this weekend.

The 11-times Scotland international was off the pace last week in the 2-2 draw with Motherwell and somehow managed to last 90 minutes.

However Graeme Murty did not heed to that warning and decided to keep him in the starting line-up against Dundee.

Rangers fans were less than happy with the midfielder’s display, with one angry supporter claiming he was “nowhere near” the standard required.

Dorrans has made just 15 appearances in all competitions this season due to injury, scoring five goals in the process, despite being signed by Pedro Caixinha last summer to be a key player in the heart of the midfield.

However it seems that he has been misused by Murty, who has insisted on playing him in the deeper-lying role despite the 30-year-old spending most of his career as a more advanced attacking midfielder, who even at times has played on the wings.

In other Rangers news, Celtic are in the running to sign this former Light Blues player in a shock summer transfer.
