'Waste of jersey', 'Worst player' - Rangers fans blast attacker after win against Hamilton
By Danny Wright
Rangers fans were left fuming at Josh Windass yet again on Friday night for his display in the 4-1 win against Hamilton at the SuperSeal Stadium.
Accies went ahead in the first minute through Daniel Redmond but a surprise double from Declan John restored order with Daniel Candeias and Graham Dorrans also finding the net.
The Light Blues were reduced to 10 men before Dorrans scored from the penalty spot in the second half as Ryan Jack was shown a second yellow for a mist-timed challenge.
Despite it being a good all round display under the floodlights at Hamilton, fans weren’t best pleased with Windass.
The 23-year-old played the whole 90 minutes on the left wing but was relatively ineffective and the Gers supporters made that known on Twitter as they blasted him after the game.

Josh Windass must be one of the worst players to ever play for us and I remember guys like Francis Jeffers and Olivier Bernard

Well done Gers tonight.
Windass is a waste of jersey at the moment, was looking for Nemane to get some time.

For months I’ve backed Windass, continually saying there’s a quality player in there.
Safe to say he’s no where near Rangers standard.

Windass looked a new player at the start of the season amid suggestions that Pedro Caixinha wasn’t going to play him much after signing up a host of new players over the summer.
The former Accrington Stanley attacker has scored one goal in his 10 appearances so far this term which came against Dundee earlier this month.
Next for the attack-minded winger is a trip to Canada to play Benfica in a friendly cup competition during the international break.
In other Rangers news, Charlie Nicholas believes that Caixinha will be axed by the Gers.
