Rangers fans destroy Celtic manager Rodgers for claim about signing

Rangers fans have destroyed Brendan Rodgers after the Celtic boss claimed Real Madrid wanted to sign Celtic loanee Charly Musonda after a game he never played in.
Rodgers claimed the Madrid giants were than enamoured with the Belgian that after he played them while on loan with Real Betis last season, they contacted his parent club the very next day wanting to sign him.
“The guys (at Chelsea) were telling me that the day after he played against Real Madrid for Real Betis, Real Madrid tried to sign him from Chelsea,” Rodgers said, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.
A Real Madrid fan site on Twitter quickly spotted the quotes and pointed out that Musonda missed one game between Betis and Madrid last season – he was an unused substitute in the other.

Rangers fans quickly jumped on it and absolutely savaged Rodgers – with one saying Musonda must have “looked phenomenal in the warm up.”
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

Musonda has signed an 18-month loan deal at Celtic Park and could make his debut when the Hoops take on Hearts on Tuesday night in the Scottish Premiership.
The Belgian is Celtic’s third signing of the transfer window after Marvin Compper and Lewis Morgan.
In other Celtic news, a good performance from Moussa Dembele against Hearts could rekindle his season
