Rangers fans have been left fuming after Dujon Sterling picked up yet another injury blow during the clash v Hibernian at Easter Road.

Philippe Clement's side limped to a 3-3 draw on the road despite having gone 2-0 up through two goals from Hamza Igamane before Martin Boyle scored a brace to make it 2-2.

Igamane then found his hattrick in the 74th minute, before Rocky Bushiri's late equaliser saw the points shared on the day.

However, it was the 25-year-old filling in at centre-back who grabbed many of the supporters' attention after he was forced off after 71 minutes.

Sterling has consistently missed games through injury since his move to Ibrox in the summer of 2023, leaving many frustrated with his lack of availability.

His latest blow has left Robin Propper as Clement's only available senior centre-back, while Leon King made his first senior appearance of the season from the bench v Hibs.

Summer signing Clinton Nsiala was named on the bench, but has also yet to make a senior appearance and has mainly represented the B team.

Dujon Sterling injury sparks Rangers crisis after Hibs clash

With the January transfer window already open, fans are demanding the club move quickly to land defensive cover as a result of their injury "emergency".

However, with no incoming deals on the horizon as things stand, they will be forced to use untested and rotational options for the immediate future.

Fans took to social media following Sterling's exit from the Easter Road pitch to express their ever-growing concern at the "serious trouble", with many also calling for the defender to be sold.
