Rangers fans have been left in meltdown after latest signing Allan McGregor posted a heartfelt message via social media following his return to the club.
The Scottish international, 36, was confirmed via the Light Blues’ official Twitter account to have agreed terms on a two-year deal after departing Hull City on a free transfer, and will be looking to add to the 250 appearances he already has under his belt for the Gers.

A graduate of the youth ranks at Ibrox, McGregor came through the system and broke into the senior side as a 20-year-old back in 2002, although his first season as a regular starter came four years later.
Departing for Besiktas back in 2012, he joined Hull back in 2013 and made 147 appearances for the Tigers, as well as 19 outings for Cardiff City during a loan spell.
However he is now back at Ibrox ahead of the summer, and the 38-cap Scotland international issued a heartfelt message via his personal Twitter account about his time at Hull and his return to the Gers, stating: “I’d like to take this chance to thank every single person at Hull City over the last 5 years. Each and every one of you made me feel welcome. When I have the chance to go home to Rangers there’s no possible way on earth I can refuse! I’m buzzing to be home!”
