Rangers fans furiously confronted Philippe Clement outside Ibrox after their humiliating 3-0 defeat against Celtic on Sunday.

The Gers were comfortably beaten by their long-time rivals as Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi, and Callum McGregor all scored.

It added to the frustration Rangers fans had after they were unable to attend the fixture due to fan safety concerns regarding this classic derby match.

After the game, several supporters visited Ibrox to confront the Rangers manager about the result, which led to a heated situation.

Clement was eventually led away from the confrontation by his security team as the animosity grew among the Gers supporters.

Rangers currently sit in fourth place after the opening four games, with the Celtic defeat being their first loss in the league this season.

Rangers fans are furious with Philippe Clement

Frustrations have been boiling over among the Gers fans in recent weeks after the club failed to qualify for the Champions League, and losing against Celtic didn’t help matters.

The confrontation highlighted the way many supporters are feeling at the moment, deciding to vocally express it to Clement.

Despite some fans feeling the situation was so bad they had to tell Clement personally, other fans believe the situation wasn’t appropriate and have defended him.
