'Immense', 'Caixinha did one thing right' – Rangers fans blown away by one summer signing v St Johnstone

Rangers recorded another three points on Tuesday night – their sixth win in seven games – and fans were delighted with the display from winger Daniel Candeias.
The 30-year-old put in a display that one fan called “immense” as Rangers ran riot in the first half against St Johnstone.
Three goals put the tie beyond the home side before the half-time whistle and the manner of the victory will have Celtic looking over their shoulders.
In the end Rangers couldn’t keep a clean sheet but ran out easy 4-1 winners.
As it is the gap is just six points and if Celtic slip-up then the Old Form derby on March 11 could take on huge significance.
Irrespective of their ability to haul Celtic back in though, the team performance was great for Graeme Murty’s men on Tuesday night and fans were especially impressed with how the new manager has got his midfield ticking.
Candeias, who moved from Benfica in the summer for just over £700,000, had one fan explaining that at least former manager Pedro Caixinha did one thing right.
He was subbed for Jason Cummings in the 63rd minute with his work done early for the night.
Here are the best reactions to a stunning performance from the 30-year-old:
