'Disgrace' - Rangers fans react as Kenny Miller plays for U20s
By James Black
Kenny Miller’s fall-out with Pedro Caixinha saw the 37-year-old turn out for the club’s Under-20 side on Sunday as they eased past Brentford’s B team 5-2 at the London side’s Jersey Road training ground.
Senior player Miller, 37, has reportedly been banished from the first-team squad after leaking details of a team meeting to the Daily Record.
A hat-trick from Ryan Hardie and goals from Jamie Barjonas and Aaron Nemane saw the young Gers continue their ‘Academy Games’ programme with a win but it was the appearance of Miller that caught fans’ interest.
The veteran striker looks as though his Ibrox career could be over after only being given a new contract over the summer.

Kenny Miller captains the U20s to say at Brentford. If he was getting bombed out the club I doubt he would be playing….

Caixinha has developed a reputation as a disciplinarian since taking charge at Ibrox with several first-team players banished from his squad after crossing the manager.
Michael O’Halloran, Rob Kiernan and Harry Forrester have all had stints with the Under-20’s since Caixinha took over and all were quickly jettisoned as Caixinha rebuilt the struggling squad he inherited from Mark Warburton in March.
The Gers return to senior action against St. Johnstone on October 13th after the international break ends.
Caixinha’s side were due to travel to Canada to face Benfica in the Eusebio Cup before the hosts pulled out at the last minute, leaving the Gers furious.
In other Rangers news, Charlie Nicholas believes that Caixinha will be axed by the Gers.
