Josh Windass is in talks over a shock £3m move to Premier League side Cardiff City, according to an Insider, and the majority of Rangers fans are happy to see him linked with a move away.

The Four Lads Had a Dream blog, a solid source of Rangers news, claimed that there were strong rumours that the 24-year-old was in discussions with the newly promoted side, with Burnley also interested.

They posted the news on their official Twitter page on Thursday evening.

Windass has scored 17 goals this season across all competitions in 40 appearances but he’s got on the wrong side of the Rangers fans on numerous occasions, not least when he seemingly made a ‘be quiet’ gesture to them after he scored.

That got the fans’ backs up and it seems like they’d rather have the money for him than keep hold of him and see what Steven Gerrard can make of him next season.

A few fans think they should hold out for more money or keep hold of him, but they’re definitely in the minority.
