'Now we are talking' - Rangers fans rave about decision made by Murty for clash v Celtic

Rangers manager Graeme Murty has made one change to the side which beat Hearts last weekend with Andy Halliday starting at left-back ahead of the injured Declan John against bitter rivals Celtic.

Welshman John suffered a broken hand meaning Halliday returns to the side, as confirmed by the Gers’ official Twitter account, but it is the Murty’s decision to start Jason Cummings in the starting XI that has got Gers fans raving on Twitter.

The 22-year-old opened the scoring in the win over the Jambos last weekend and will make his first Old Firm start as Brendan Rodgers’ side look to wrap up a seventh consecutive title with a win over the Gers.

Fans are delighted to see former Hibs striker Cummings continue ahead of Alfredo Morelos – with one saying the Scotland international will score against Celtic.

Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

Cummings has struggled for regular starts in the league since signing from Nottingham Forest on loan in January although the striker has manager six goals in fourteen appearances for the Light Blues.
