Scott Brown proved his mettle when he took two tough challenges from Aberdeen players on Sunday before standing up and roaring his defiance to the Celtic fans. A video of the incident went viral and was picked up by Celtic legend John Hartson.

Hartson said he loved it and that "Broony" is a tough bas****. Celtic went on to win the game 2-0, restoring their nine point lead at the top of the table from Rangers. Rangers had temporarily reduced the gap to six points on Saturday with a 2-0 win of their own. There's no love lost between the two bitter rivals but some Rangers fans couldn't help but admire the actions of Brown and responded to Hartson's tweet. Others weren't so complimentary though, with one saying that Brown is a bully who only picks on the smallest player on the pitch.
