Rangers are still looking for a new manager after sacking Pedro Caixinha last month – and fans on Twitter now want sacked West Brom boss Tony Pulis to take the reins.
After being under pressure from Baggies fans for sometime, in a major development Pulis was shown the Hawthorns exit door on Monday morning after losing to Chelsea to take their run of Premier League games without a win to 10.
Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes has been linked with both jobs and it seems that Rangers fans would prefer Pulis over the man who could replace him at the Hawthorns.
The former Stoke City and Crystal Palace manager was likened to Rangers legend Walter Smith by fans as they grow impatient with the time taken by the Ibrox giants to replace Caixinha.
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

Get Tony Pulis to Ibrox. Good Rangers man James Beattie can be the Ian Durrant to his Walter Smith. pic.twitter.com/fWj3GjESZS

The Gers sit fourth in the Scottish Premiership after losing 2-0 to Hamilton on Saturday as the Accies recorded their first league win at IBrox since 1926.
Alex McLeish is the bookies’ favourite to take over at Ibrox with McInnes and former Ajax manager Frank de Boer also in the running.
In 2013/14, experienced boss Pulis took Crystal Palace to their highest Premier League position – finishing 11th – and won the Premier League’s manager of the year award as a result.
The Welshman joined West Brom in January 2015 before being sacked on Monday morning.
In other Rangers news, a Premier League club has joined the Light Blues in pursuing one of their top targets.
