Rangers are “in demand” from sponsors and their new commercial deal with Biowave is further proof of their appeal. 

That is according to finance guru and Football Insider columnist Kieran Maguire, speaking exclusively after Rangers announced the partnership on Wednesday.

Biowave will be the women’s team’s new front-of-shirt sponsor and have had their logo replicated atop the Broomloan and Copland Road stands at Ibrox.

The pain relief technology company are Rangers’ 30th sponsor in total and the 14th so sign up this season.

In an accompanying statement, commercial director James Bisgrove claimed the club were “delighted” with the strategic partnership.

Maguire lauded Rangers for their relentless approach to securing new commercial deals and claimed the Biowave’s desire to be visible at Ibrox is a “good sign.”

He told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams: “Sponsors want to be seen. It really is that simple.

“This gives them that opportunity. With the logo being replicated at Ibrox, that’s a good sign.

“With them playing Europe, therefore, that gives sponsors extra visibility.

“In addition, we’ve seen them sign a huge number of deals this season, and you have to take your hat off to them for that.

“Rangers are a club who are in demand.”

On the pitch, Rangers are enjoying a monumentally successful season in 2020-21.
