Rangers news: Aaron Ramsey is already eyeing summer move - pundit
Kevin Campbell has claimed Aaron Ramsey is in the "shop window" during his loan spell at Rangers.
The former Arsenal striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 31-year-old will already be "trying to get himself fixed up" with a return to the Premier League.
Ramsey contributed an assist during his first Rangers start against Annan Athletic in the Scottish Cup on Saturday (12 February).
The former Arsenal ace made a deadline day loan switch to Ibrox after falling out of favour and struggling with injury at parent club Juventus.
Campbell suggested the Wales midfielder's "experience and knowledge" will be a "really good" addition to the Gers' dressing room.
“He’s in the shop window at Rangers - for sure,” he told Football Insider's Ewan Kingsbury.
“He’s gone to Rangers to see if he can help them retain that title, and that is a really good challenge for him.
“Ramsey is obviously still a brilliant player, and he’ll have been really good around the dressing room at Ibrox with that experience and knowledge he brings.
“At present, this loan deal works for all parties – Juventus, Rangers, and the player.
“But I’m sure when summer rolls around, he’ll be trying to get himself fixed up with a Premier League move. The only way he can get that is by impressing during his time at Rangers.”
Ramsey's first start came after two 15-minute league cameos against Hearts and Hibernian earlier this month.
Ramsey contributed to 91 goals in 262 games for Arsenal in the Premier League before departing on a free transfer in 2019.
Rangers sit second in the Scottish Premiership, just one point behind Old Firm rivals Celtic.
