Pundit amazed after it's revealed how many Rangers bids fielded for big-name stars
Rangers are yet to receive any bids for their big-name stars because other clubs know they are settled at Ibrox.
So says ex-Premier League goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Steven Gerrard’s recent interview comments.
Quoted by the Scotsman on 30th July, the manager said Rangers hadn’t received “one single bid” for any player besides George Edmundson.
Edmundson, who spent last season on loan at Derby County and made just 17 appearances in his time at Ibrox, was sold to Ipswich Town last month.
Meanwhile, Rangers have brought in Fashion Sakala, Nnamdi Ofoborh and John Lundstram on free transfers.
And Kenny claims that the lack of formal offers for their players is a good omen for the Scottish champions.

He told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams: “I can only see the reason being that other clubs see that they are settled there at Rangers.
“If you’re at Rangers now, why would you want to leave? Unless it’s a big Premier League or European club, you wouldn’t quit that club. No chance.
“They are on the up, they’ve got a great manager and they’ve just won their first title in 10 years.
“That must be the only reason no one has put any bids in for their big players, they can see they are all really happy.
“You look at them and you think, wow. All they look like they are going to do is go from strength to strength at the moment.”
