Kenny Miller is certainly not a bad player but he is no longer deserving of nailed-on starter status.
Over the years he has come to Rangers’ rescue on countless occassions and he likely still could this season but it’s clear to anyone who has paid the slightest bit of attention to Rangers this season that Miller is now beyond his best.
He’s struggled so far this season and, despite Caixinha’s apparent reliance on him, he could do with a spell on the sidelines.
At just short of 38-years-old, Miller’s role should be reduced to that of impact sub, not first-team lynchpin. He is miles off the pace.
