Rangers tipped to accept near-£20m Hagi bid - pundit
Rangers would accept a £17million bid for Ianis Hagi, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Premier League and England defender admitted he was not sure a bid would be forthcoming in the January transfer window.
Romanian outlet Sport.Ro reported (September 23) Roma want to sign Hagi for £17million (€20million) in the upcoming transfer window.
While Hagi has divided the Ibrox faithful he is arguably playing the best football of his career currently.
The 22-year-old has scored twice and provided two assists in 11 games for the Gers this season, including eight starts.
He also scored his second goal for Romania with a fine solo effort in their 2-1 defeat to Germany in World Cup qualifying this month.

Asked for his assessment of a potential £17million move to Roma, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Is he a Jose Mourinho-style player? I’m not sure would be my answer.
“But if you’re offered that amount of money without a doubt you’d take it. £17million for that calibre of player is wow, snap your hand off.
“Whether that comes to fruition at £17million I would be a little bit surprised if it did.”
Hagi has scored 13 times and provided 19 assists in 69 games across all competitions from Rangers.
The attacker moved to Ibrox, initially on loan, from Genk in the January transfer window last year.
He is under contract at Ibrox until the summer of 2024.
