Rangers supporters have demanded that the club sack Philippe Clement after they were held to a 2-2 draw against Hearts on Sunday (29 December).

The Gers fought back from a two-goal deficit at Fir Park courtesy of a brace from Hamza Igamane, but the result wasn’t enough to put any real pressure on Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Rangers trail their Old Firm rivals by 14 points after the opening 18 games after losing four times and drawing another three fixtures this season.

The lack of consistency has been problematic for Clement as fans have begun piling pressure on him to fix things.

Rangers had failed to qualify for the Champions League this season which instantly made fans question him, and those voices have now grown.

Rangers supporters want Philippe Clement gone

While there are concerns about whether or not the club could afford to sack Clement due to their financial difficulties, the fans have seen enough this season.

The club revealed in their latest accounts for 2023-24 that net losses increased by £4.1million to £17.2million across the period, which has caused issues with transfer investment.

They claimed the situation is an “absolute embarrassment” as others called him a “clown.”
