Rangers want double swoop done in next 24 hours - report

Celtic are working on a double swoop for Hibernian playmaker John McGinn and Liverpool forward Harry Wilson, according to a report.

The Daily Mail claim the Scottish giants are keen to land McGinn on a permanent deal and Wilson on loan as they look to boost their squad ahead of their return to Champions League qualification.

It is said that Celtic could bring in at least one of the pair ahead of tomorrow’s (Thursday) initial Champions League signing deadline, with the first match against Alashkert in Armenia on Tuesday.

McGinn is available for a potentially bargain price as he enters the final year of his Hibs contract, while Wilson is likely to sign a new Liverpool contract and then be sent out on loan.

In other Rangers news, the odds have been slashed on the club signing a Premier League legend who Gerrard knows inside out.
