Rangers fans all say same thing about Nicolas Raskin after what he did in Belgium draw vs Egypt
Rangers fans are convinced that Nicolas Raskin’s introduction from the bench changed the game for Belgium as they drew 1-1 with Egypt in the World Cup.
The Lowland Country were 1-0 down to the Egyptians for much of the game, and could not find a way through their backline.
However, quickly after Raskin’s introduction, they looked more fluid in attack, and soon found an equaliser thanks to an own goal.
Now, many of the Rangers fanbase are convinced that Belgium have Raskin to thank for their point, with the midfielder making a wonderful impact from the bench.
The 25-year-old replaced Amadou Onana, who had a dreadful game against the African side and easily put himself in contention to start against Iran on Sunday.
Raskin has been regularly linked away from Ibrox in recent months, after another stellar campaign in Glasgow.

Raskin has no doubt impressed early into his Belgium career.
The midfielder only made his international debut in 2025, but has since become a regular and has even netted twice for his country.
Against Egypt, the 25-year-old proved to be a creative spark and was unlucky not to pick up an assist for his efforts.
Upon reflecting on his performance, Rangers fans took to X, convinced that his introduction changed the game in Belgium’s favour on Monday.
Will Raskin still be at Rangers next season?
A Raskin exit at Ibrox has been highly speculated upon for months at Rangers, with the midfielder impressing throughout the 2025-26 campaign despite the club finishing third.
It has previously been reported that both Premier League teams and top European sides are in the race for Raskin’s signature this summer.
Now, if he continues to impress in the World Cup, a departure may be inevitable, with interest likely to increase as the weeks go on.
However, it remains to be seen if Derek McInnes would be willing to part with such an important player just weeks into his tenure at Ibrox as he looks to finally end their trophy drought.
Nevertheless, if a big bid comes in, it might be too much for Rangers to turn down, especially after missing out on Champions League football.
