Rangers look set to replace Danny Rohl with Hearts manager Derek McInnes with the transfer window opening on Monday.

Developments regarding the German head coach's departure from the Gers have moved quickly, with Red Bull Salzburg expected to appoint him soon.

The Light Blues have wasted no time in identifying a replacement for the former Sheffield Wednesday boss and have made contact with the Jam Tarts for their head coach.

With McInnes seemingly on his way to Ibrox, it wouldn't be surprising to see him bring in Cammy Devlin as Nicolas Raskin's successor.

The Belgium international has been linked with an exit from the Glaswegian outfit since last summer and now may be the right time for them to cash in, with the window about to open on 15 June.

Devlin was a linchpin in the Scottish manager's plans at Tynecastle Park, as the Jambos almost made history in the William Hill Premiership.

Rangers expect Nicolas Raskin transfer inevitable

Raskin had a falling out with Russell Martin at the start of the 2025-26 campaign, and while at one point it looked like he would be on his way out, he ended up staying at the Gers.

The 25-year-old made 33 league appearances this season, scoring six goals and providing seven assists, playing a key role in Rohl's push for the title.

Sources told Football Insider in April that Rangers were expecting strong interest in Raskin in the summer and bracing for offers from clubs across Europe.

Cammy Devlin played 28 matches in the William Hill Premiership under McInnes, often forming a partnership with Beni Baningime in a double pivot.

Derek McInnes to bring James Tavernier successor to Ibrox

Signing a new quality right-back to replace James Tavernier will surely be one of the most important things McInnes will have to resolve at Rangers if he's appointed.

Looking at the 54-year-old head coach's time at Tynecastle Park, it wouldn't be surprising to see him try to reunite with Oisin McEntee, after relying on the Irish right-back heavily in a campaign where Hearts lost the league title on the final day to Celtic.

Since Lawrence Shankland's arrival at the Govan side, it has been evident that Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises would turn to the former Kilmarnock boss if Rohl departed.
