Rangers' updated Nicolas Raskin asking price revealed after bid rejected
Rangers have rejected a loan bid from Besiktas for Belgium midfielder Nicolas Raskin, sources have told Football Insider.
The Gers are holding out for permanent deal for a fee that exceeds £10million for a player they consider to be their prize asset.
Raskin has missed Rangers’ past two matches amid transfer speculation, but was in the squad to face Falkirk on Wednesday night for the Scottish Premiership clash.
The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with leaving Ibrox over the last 12 months while being a constant standout in the Premiership.
Raskin also impressed at the World Cup with Belgium earlier in the summer, but remains a Rangers player ahead of the Thursday Scottish cut-off.
The Gers remain open to letting him leave the club, but will not sanction a cut-price exit, as he remains under contract until 2028.

Raskin cemented his place as one of Scotland's finest with seven goals and nine assists in 50 appearances for Rangers last season.
He then contributed two assists in six World Cup appearances for Belgium, as he was handed starts in each of their three knockout matches.
Sources exclusively revealed to Football Insider last week that Rangers were "prepared" to lose Raskin in the latter stages of the transfer window as interested clubs circled.
Besiktas are the only club to submit an offer so far, but will have to reconsider after being rejected ahead of the Super Lig's deadline on Friday.
Rangers allowed fellow central midfielder Conor Barron to join Middlesbrough on loan on Deadline Day, following the earlier departures of Nedim Bajrami, Mohamed Diomande and Lyall Cameron.

McInnes will not want to lose his star man so late in the window, with the Scottish deadline coming up at 5pm on Thursday.
The Gers boss is already under pressure following their slow start to the new league season and shock Conference League exit against Jablonec.
He spoke to the media about talk of Raskin's future ahead of their Wednesday night game against Falkirk, saying: "Nico, we need a centre midfield player, obviously we've got two or three options to pick from but Nico's been training with us every day although he's not been playing.
"Our need for Nico in the team is clear so I'm delighted to pick him, delighted to keep him with us. His disappointment, if there is any, I'm sure will be shown in the performance and between now and January we work with Nico to see how things develop."
