Rangers fans make their feelings clear on Youssef Chermiti sale after '£25m' bid update
Rangers fans would be happy to see their star striker Youssef Chermiti depart the club if a £25million bid is submitted.
The 22-year-old has reportedly attracted interest from Galatasaray ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Gers are expected to demand over £25m for the attacker after a solid first campaign in the Scottish Premiership.
Chermiti netted 15 goals in the league this season and put in multiple memorable displays against the likes of Celtic and Hearts, which has led to the recent interest.
However, Rangers fans would be happy to see the striker leave this summer if the club’s price tag is met.
Rangers fans would not stand in the way of a Chermiti sale this summer
Despite multiple fantastic performances from Chermiti this season, he often struggled for consistency.
Many of his goals would come in one swoop, leading to frustrating droughts throughout the campaign.
The addition of Lawrence Shankland now means that Rangers are not fully reliant on Chermiti going into the campaign, with the former Hearts man guaranteed to score goals.
After news broke from Sergen Dag on X that Rangers would demand over £25m for the striker, supporters took to the platform stating that if such an offer does come in, the club should simply accept it.
Could a Chermiti exit revive Bojan Miovski’s Ibrox career?
Football Insider exclusively revealed that Bojan Miovski is planning to engineer an exit from Rangers this summer.
The striker is not happy with his play time at the Gers, and the arrival of Shankland has only damaged this further.
The 26-year-old is intending to try to find a move away from Glasgow this summer, as sources say that he is not content with the idea of playing a bit-part role once again next term.
However, if Chermiti is to move on, it could open the door for the North Macedonian attacker to have a revival at Ibrox.
It was a poor first season for Miovski at Rangers as he scored just seven Scottish Premiership goals on his return to the division.
Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if he is able to recover his form going into the next campaign, and if this will happen at Rangers or elsewhere.
