Raphinha among seven Leeds stars causing 'massive worry for Bielsa' after latest - pundit
The disciplinary record of Leeds United will be a “massive worry” for Marcelo Bielsa, according to Noel Whelan.
The former Whites striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted Bielsa’s men cannot afford to “walk a tightrope” despite the perilous situation.
As per WhoScored, seven Leeds United players have received four yellow cards so far this season – leaving them one caution away from a one-match ban.
Diego Llorente, Rodrigo, Junior Firpo, Raphinha, Liam Cooper, Jamie Shackleton, and Tyler Roberts have all received four yellow cards this term.
However, if those players can keep their noses clean until after the Boxing Day clash with Liverpool – the threat of a ban disappears.
Whelan insisted there will not be a change of intensity from Bielsa in order to stave off the threat.

“It’s a massive worry for Bielsa. We’re coming up to a really busy period in the football calendar, the games will be coming thick and fast,” he told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury.
“It’s a tough run and we’d like not to be without many of the experienced players as we play the top four clubs. But at the same time, you can’t go out there and be walking a tightrope. You have to be 100% committed to the way you play.
“There might have to be an element of control, but I’m sure some of the players can deal with that. It’s not ideal with the injury list we have, but you can’t hold back in any game. Not when you’re down towards the bottom of the table.”
Leeds United face matches against Man City and Arsenal before the Liverpool clash on 26 December.
The Whites sit 15th in the Premier League.
