Red-hot Celtic hero Dembele will 'run Rangers ragged' - McAvennie
Frank McAvennie claims Moussa Dembele will cause plenty of problems for Rangers on Thursday night.
The Celtic icon, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, is predicting a rough night for the Gers defence.
Dembele is set to lead the line at Ibrox as Rangers face Lyon in the group stage of the Europa League.
Dembele, 25, made 94 appearances for Celtic between 2016 and 2018 before departing for Lyon.
The forward hasn’t minuted a minute in the league for Lyon this season and scored four goals in five games, including a strike against Strasbourg on Sunday night.
He scored five goals against the Gers during his Parkhead career, including a hattrick in his first Old Firm game.

When asked if Dembele could haunt Rangers this week, McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild, “It would be nice, wouldn’t it?
“He’s a good player in cracking form but he won’t be going to Ibrox with that in mind.
“I’m sure the fans will be giving him stick for his Celtic ties but he’s so far removed from Celtic now.
“He will enjoy it, he will remember going there and scoring goals and he wants to repeat that for his new club.
“I don’t think there will be any thought of Celtic for him there. We know how good he is. He could run that Rangers team ragged.
“I always said he could play higher than where he is and Rangers can’t give him an inch.
“He’s the danger man. It will be a good battle I’m sure. “
Rangers battled into the Europa League group stage after beating Alashkert in the last knockout round.
The Gers were unable to qualify for the Champions League after losing both legs of a play-off to Malmo.
