Boyhood Tottenham fan, Harry Kane scored the winning goal when his second-half strike was the difference between the two teams.
Victor Wanyama had opened the scoring, with Kane doubling his side’s lead after the break before Wayne Rooney struck 19 minutes before time.
Speaking on Sky Sports 1, Redknapp made a brilliant comment about Henry and the Spurs fans after the match.
“Someone has to clean the pitch,” said Sky Sports presenter David Jones. “We are going to send Thierry down,” Redknapp responded.
As a result of that win, Spurs have gone the entire season on home soil unbeaten which is fitting considering it is their final season at the Lane.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have recorded a number of impressive wins in front of their supporters this term.
The likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, West Ham, Southampton and now United are just some of the teams to have suffered defeats in north London.
Added to that, Tottenham have also secured the runners-up spot in the Premier League table as they have finished below champions Chelsea.
Two matches of the season now remain for Spurs, with away trips to Leicester City on Thursday night and already-relegated Hull on the final day of the season.
