International ace wanted by Aston Villa and PL ready to move, price is £10m – reports

Robbie Brady is desperate to leave Norwich and his price tag is £10million, according to a reliable journalist.
Speaking to Jim White’s talkSPORT show on Wednesday, Daily Mirror writer Darren Lewis believes Brady’s price tag is set at £10million as he looks for a move from Norwich.
“There are plenty of clubs interested in him,” Lewis said. “Leicester wanted him in the summer, but Norwich priced him at around £20million so they did not force a move.
“He wants to go. The price tag is £10million but it might go higher. I think there will be a big battle for him come the end of the window.”
The Birmingham Mail claimed that the 25-year-old set-piece specialist is on Steve Bruce’s shortlist at Villa after they worked together at Hull City, but Premier League Burnley remain in pole position for his signature.

Lacking in width, Villa have just one recognised winger in their squad in Ghana international Albert Adomah and bringing in Brady would bolster Bruce’s options on the flanks.
However, the Birmingham Mail claim that Villa face a fight on their hands with Sean Dyche’s Burnley, along with Premier League rivals Sunderland and Crystal Palace all interested in the versatile left-footer.
Manager Bruce must move quickly if he is to sign the former Manchester United youth player, as it is believed Burnley have made an offer for Brady’s services.
Football Insider verdict:
Brady’s best career form came during his Premier League days in Yorkshire under Bruce with Hull City, and a reunion with the former Sunderland and Wigan manager could see him return to his best. Villa have a better chance of gaining promotion this season as Alex Neil’s side continue their slump after winning just three times in 14 Championship matches. Under Bruce, who is looking to gain his fifth promotion, Brady could return to his brilliant best and be able to inspire a Villa side that could still reach the play-offs. Bruce must table an offer for Brady and take advantage of the fact that he is desperate to leave as Lewis predicts a battle for his services in the last two weeks of the window.
In other Aston Villa transfer news, Bruce is getting serious about signing this £13m-rated striker.
