Reliable Leeds journalist: Clubs enquiring about young winger
By Harvey Byrne
A number of clubs have asked about taking Jordan Botaka on loan from Leeds, revealed a reliable Whites journalist.
Yorkshire Evening Posts’ chief football writer Phil Hay posted on his personal Twitter account that a number of clubs have asked to take the 23-year-old winger on loan this season.

Hay confirmed that League One side Oldham were one of the clubs, but nothing has been agreed as of yet.
There were Twitter rumours on Tuesday night that Botaka was on trial at the League One club in a pre-season friendly.
However, the former Excelsior man confirmed that he was still at Leeds, but these latest developments may suggest that his time at Elland Road could be numbered.

Leeds have already loaned another emerging winger, Lee Erwin, to the Latics after a disappointing campaign, and it is plausible that Botaka could also be heading out.
The 23-year-old, who joined from Dutch club Excelsior last summer, was on the fringes of the team in his debut Leeds campaign and made only 14 first-team appearances, just three of which were starts.
The winger has just a year left on his contract, but Botaka scored last Friday in a 4-3 comeback win over non-league Guiseley, which was his first goal in a Leeds shirt.
In other Leeds transfer news, the Whites could be set to offer academy product Alex Mowatt a new deal.
