Report: 23-year-old unhappy by manager comments, Tottenham hold major interest
By Harvey Byrne
Everton attacker Ross Barkley has been left unhappy by comments made from manager Ronald Koeman, according to a report.
Former senior Sky Sports reporter Graeme Bailey has wrote for the Gambling Times that the 23-year-old is not happy with manager Koeman after the Dutchman offered him an ultimatum regarding his contract situation.
Now, his contract situation is reported to have attracted a lot of clubs and Bailey details in his column that one of those is Tottenham.
It is claimed that the 22-time capped England international has major interest for his services and Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are all said to be keeping tabs on his situation.

Mauricio Pochettino is currently blessed with Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen in the attacking midfield positions.
However, expensive summer signing Moussa Sissoko has flopped at the club after joining from Newcastle and the Argentine may feel he can help Barkley rediscover his best form.
Football Insider verdict:
Barkley is a talented player on his day, but at this stage of his career it is just a question of when that day comes. The 23-year-old is still valued highly by Everton despite having just a year on his contract and with the England player premium added to his price-tag alongside the Toffees potentially selling to a divisional rival, Tottenham may be better looking elsewhere. They already took a huge gamble on Sissoko last year and Pochettino may be better off signing a proven player to help his side push for the title once again next season. However, if one manager is to help Barkley find his best form then it will surely be Pochettino who has worked wonders with a number of youngsters in recent years.
