By Harvey Byrne
Liverpool have had a £9.2million bid rejected for Piotr Zielinski by Udinese, according to a report.
The Daily Mail claim that the Italian club have accepted Napoli’s bid for Zielinski of £9.2million plus add-ons, but they have turned down a similar offer from Liverpool.
The Reds have also tabled a £25million bid for Mahmoud Dahoud in a clear statement of intent to sign the Borussia Mochengladbach youngster.
However, as reported on Football Insider, the Bundesliga club have informed Liverpool there is no chance Dahoud will be leaving this summer after they lost Granit Xhaka to Arsenal earlier in the window.
Although, it is understood that both player’s still have a say in where they will end up during this summer’s transfer window.

22-year-old Zielinski has made it clear that he does not want to join Napoli and that he has his heart set on a move to Liverpool and if Udinese continue to not want to do business with the Anfield club then he will stay where he is for now.
The 20-year-old Dahoud is also believed to have rejected the offer of a contract extension on his current deal that ends in two-years time, but it is understood that the player is happy to remain in Germany for another season.
Klopp has been eager to strengthen his midfield this summer, but the need to make signings is not desperate, not least because of the form Joe Allen has shown for Wales at Euro 2016.
In other Liverpool news, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Celtic are keen on former Reds defender Kolo Toure.
